Ever since filmmaker Shirish Kunder's short film 'Kriti' was released, the audience went gaga over the suspense thriller and Shirish too received a lot of accolades for the way he had directed the Manoj Bajpayee-Neha Sharma-Radhika Apte starrer short film. However, apart from critical acclaim, the film did attract controversy when a filmmaker from Nepal accused Shirish of plagiarism saying that the idea of 'Kriti' was originally his brainchild and that Shirish had "stolen" his concept.
Now, the latest development in this controversy is that YouTube has taken off the short film 'Kriti' and people who want to watch the film are unable to find the video. Shirish tweeted saying, "2.5 Million views for #Kriti. Those who seek truth will find it in facts. Those who seek hate will remain in denial."
